Ebay Private Seller & Promoted Listing - "Pay just £1.49 (incl. VAT) Boost visibility until it ends"

I have a couple of items that I believe would benefit from a bit more exposure. Think fashion, art, Etc. where people are browsing items rather than specific items where key word searches work best. So my offer to promote shows as above, "Pay just £1.49 (incl. VAT) Boost visibility until it ends". Am I right in saying that the deal is exactly as described? Just a bolt on one off cost of £1.49 for the one item with no additional costs or commitment? It's just that all the blurb I can find seems to relate to cost per click and percentage of sales cost over fees, which may be something else? Thanks

EDIT: I think I have my answer. https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/promoted-listings-overview/listings/selling/promoted-listings-express?id=5277&st=12&pos=4&query=Promoted%20Listings%20Express&intent=prom&context=unavailable&docId=HELP1664

Just stop and think how many thousands will think its only £1.49 and worth a shot, then your fighting with thousands of others
    for that top search result.

Have a quick browse and see how many sponsored listings there are. What makes yours stand out?

I am sure it adds up to many millions. 😃 As it's only 1% of the start price and I am running 80% FVF listings, I don't actually begrudge the cost as eBay selling prices are prices I could not achieve elsewhere and would have to work harder to do so. As a test I did it on one genuinely rare 70s item and it is indeed a one off payment. I note you get stats with the listing, so you can see where views come from. I also did it on an item made for key word searches to compare results. I have no plans to use in the future, but would like to see how it functions.
