misrepresentation on condition of a laptop

What are my rights: I went to use the online ordering service from a major warehouse company, I bought a laptop with no indication that it was used. Upon initial boot up I got a checksum error, first indication that it was used but ok. then I got a pop-up from HP saying that the warranty expires in Jan 23. But wait I should get two years. After checking the HP website, the laptop was registered with them Dec 25, 2021 (Last year) and the HP support for initial setup expired Jul 24 2022. What are my rights? currently the firm says there are no more of these in stock and I can get a 100% refund. what other rights do I have? Not happy with the service. BTW the store has given me a two year warranty from the day I bought it (about 3 weeks ago). thoughts please

What more do you want above a full refund?3

A refund puts you back in the position you were before buying.
What else are you looking for?2 -
Thoughts are a refund is all you're entitled to, so either take it or live with the machine you have.0

What more do you think you might be entitled to, beyond a full refund?0

Take the money and run. Avoid using that company in future. If you are looking for kompensayshun on top you are likely to be disappointed.

The date of the warranty will be the manufacturing date.
Once you register it, the system will update.
It has just been on the shelf for a while.0 -
None beyond the full refund.Suffern said:What are my rights: I went to use the online ordering service from a major warehouse company, I bought a laptop with no indication that it was used. I don't even see a reason to avoid them. They acknowledged their mistake, offered a 2-year warranty or a full refund.TELLIT01 said:Take the money and run. Avoid using that company in future. If you are looking for kompensayshun on top you are likely to be disappointed.0 -
You're fully entitled to the following:Suffern said:

Company MD - stripped to the waist and publicly whipped until unconscious
Company secretary - home repossessed and forced to live in a storm drain for 3 years
Sole trader/Partnership - tied to a faulty bungee cord (outside of 2 year warranty) and dangled from Christ the Redeemer for 6 weeks
This is of course in addition to your right to a full refund.
At least that's my interpretation of the current legislation.3
