Why the jump in markets today?

Anyone know why UK, Europe and US stock markets have jumped by relatively large amounts today?

FTSE 250   up 3.9%

Dax            up 3.51%

S&P 500   up 4.14%

    Lower US inflation than expected. Hopes that this might mean that inflation could be easing and the Fed won't have to raise rates as far as anticipated.

    Yes the drop in inflation is the big factor, but maybe also the comparatively sensible and non-event results in the mid-term elections.
    “So we beat on, boats against the current, borne back ceaselessly into the past.”
  • Consensus US inflation was expected at 7.9%. It came in at 7.7%.

    Whether this is a real face-ripper rebound, or a suckers' rally, remains to be seen.

    It's the next stage of the 80% crash, this is the start of the “melt up” that precedes the “pivot” that precedes the collapse of the Dollar and all of western capitalism.

    Best get down to Lidl and get some tins of beans, crypto and gold, there's a storm coming.

    Im surprised Aldi don't tell them in the special buys bins.

    Markets are volatile, it doesn't take much to change them up or down.
