I have a sensor that reads 314 when wet and 144 when dry.
If the sensor reads 229 (50%) what formula do I need to show what the percentage is if 314 is 100% and 144 is 0% and how do I "convert" 314 to 100% and 144 to 0%?

=(reading-144)/(314-144) will give an answer between 0 and 1.Format that cell as a percentage and you're done.
