Romoska Tia v Gas hob

Hi, we have a Remoska Tia (which is electric but can go on the hob as a large pan and has a pressure lid)

I just wondered if it was cheaper to run it plugged in on electric say for example for a chicken curry or for the same recipe on the gas hob?

Thank you, I'm on the standard rate for gas & electric

gas costs less than electric (10p vs 34p) so if the recipie takes the same amount of time both ways then gas should be cheaper.

if it's faster one way or the other then you would need to look at the amount of gas or electric used (but it would have to take more than three times as much gas for it to break even)

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
