Should I let my MSP appeal PCN on my behalf?

Hi,
As the registered keeper of my car, I received a PCN from Parkingeye from my local Lidl.
There is 'sort of a decent' reason for the prolonged stay but they have fallen to deaf ears when contacting Lidl customer services.
I reached out to my MSP office who have sent me a response stating that whilst they cannot influence decision making they have asked if I'd like them to appeal to Parkingeye on my behalf. Just wondering what the general consensus is with this route?
Should I? Or should I just ignore any ongoing letters form Parkingeye?
I'm in Scotland so I understand that the keeper liability doesn't in to play, for now anyway.
Thanks

You can, as long as you haven't blabbed to the MSP about who was driving, and as long as they know NOT TO IMPLY IT.
I wouldn't though!
You are talking about 'a sort of a decent reason for the prolonged stay' which suggests your MSP would start blathering on about mitigating circumstances which is not only going to fall on deaf ears but it then tells them who was driving.
Leave it. Ignore ParkingEye in Scotland.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
