how would you achieve that 4.6% within a pension? If you are talking about withdrawing it all to put in a standard savings product then you would be hit by significant taxI’m a Senior Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Pensions, Annuities & Retirement Planning, Loans

Can the product that is giving 4.6% be held in a pension?

In general, you should be diversified between fixed income and equity asset classes. So, some of your pension would be in products giving X% and the rest in equity. Putting everything in fixed income does not guarantee investment return, at least not in real terms (net of inflation).0

One persons view of 'bleeding losses' can for somebody else be ' a normal downturn following many years of good growth'chris3691 said:my pension of 64k is bleeding losses as i'm sure most of you are experiencing, should i reinvest at 4.6% in the remaining 6 year to at least gain some investment return?
However depends on how heavy the bleeding is. What is the % loss compared to say its value on Jan 1st 2021, and from Jan 2022?1
