I wondered if a grant for helping replace double glazing exists? the goverment eco grants only seem to be if you have single glazing.
Many thanks to all who contribute on MSE

The government want to concentrate on the low hanging fruit so that they can claim to be doing something..There are a few double glazing firms claiming to be able to access "funding" and "grants" to reduce the cost of their windows. Had one outfit try to pull this stunt on me... Quoted £14K, but with grants, it would be reduced to £7K. Local companies were quoting in the £5-6K. Do not fall for it. It is just a marketing con, especially when they tell you that you have to sign up now as the funding won't be available tomorrow.

It's unlikely but may depend upon where you are - there may be local grants/loans available e.g. https://www.homeenergyscotland.org/find-funding-grants-and-loans/interest-free-loans/0
