Hi so i have a small limited company who lease vehicles . We have now received 2nr fines from a vehicle stopping to drop someobody off then collect within the airport (£60 or £100 each)
They have asked for the driver details....DO we have to name the driver.?.....And if No what happens do they then just claim against the business??
It was issued by UK Parking Patrol Office Ltd, Manhester M34EL

Oh God, they are jumping in the 'drop off area' flaw in the new Code of Practice that says that there doesn't need to be any consideration period.
Big mistake in the incoming Statutory Code, and we've seen the same scam at Gatwick and Heathrow - immediate ticketing for just driving in. No evidence of parking!
Do the tickets (or the photo evidence when you go online as if to appeal) show the car driving, or parked?
What is the timeline exactly between first and last photo?
Is each PCN headed up 'penalty' or is it 'parking charge'?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon Mad thankyou so much for replying.....
1st one was dropping people off at airport - 1745 Hrs it says its a PCN - "we have issued Parking Charge Notice (PVN) 1234456" - Dropping off / picking up in a restricted area. Picture shows car stopped boot open and people unloading suitcase
2nd one was picking people back up 10 days later - It says says its a PCN - "we have issued Parking Charge Notice (PVN) 1234456" - says it was for stopping on double yellow lines.....It was at 2313 Hours picture show car stopped boot open and person with case approaching.
Any ideas of how to proceed???0 -

Its currently addressed to the leasing company who passed it onto my business. They said they pass on my company info to them then the Parking goons then re issue the PCN addressed to my business.
Whats annoying but no excuse is that the people who were dropped off were involved in a serious car accident 48 hours before where there car was nearly written off...£10k of damage. They then had no way of getting to the airport so as they are great friends we said no problem we will run you over.....just enjoy your holiday..........Agghhh so annoying. You do a good turn and look what happens....100% true0 -
OK, so (if it hasn't arrived yet) wait until the NTH arrives in your company name then appeal in the name of your company, using the Edna_Basher 'ABC Company' appeal template, as linked in the first post of the NEWBIES thread (you know the one if you've read the NEWBIS=ES advice thread; it is in the lease cars section near the end of the first post). All covered there,PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
