Should I take this seriously?

I feel I know the answer but perhaps need some reassurance.
I received a text today from TNC on bell of CPS midlands ltd saying I had an outstanding fine to pay.
This is the first I have heard of it and am unsure how I got it or where or if it is genuine!
Does anyone know how I should deal with this?

Yep.  TNC are to be ignored completely.

Come back if you get a court claim.

If you are moving address within 6 years of the PCN you MUST email the parking firm to tell them and to get any old address erased. That is your only danger. People get CCJs by leaving a parking firm with an old address in their database.

  • I’ve never had a parking ticket. That’s why I’m confused by this contact via text message.

Sounds like a scam but are your RK details up to date?

You have - but it was sent by post and presumably your log book showed an old address.

  • Yes all my details are up to date. I’ve had no ticket, no letter, just a text message.
  • Coupon mad I’ve never had anything on my car or posted to me. All my details are up to date and I have only owned a car for a year.
My log book has my current address and no other. I’ve been where I am for 4years now.
