Just an update - Case was moved to my local CC and I received a court-date towards the end of November. Whilst in the process of creating a defence I had a call from a paralegal at the "solicitors" firm bringing the action to "discuss a settlement". I replied that unless the settlement was for £0 and they were cancelling the case I look forward to seeing them in court. I said I am confident in my case, and that I would be asking the judge for 3 days expenses in the defence I was about to file.
A few days after that call I got an e-mail confirming they had been instructed to discontinue cour proceedings and closing the file.
So another W against these absolute scam merchants! As always thanks for assistance from all here.3 -
