PayPal Credit Account Direct Debit

Hi
I wonder if anyone has experience of setting up a direct debit with PayPal to pay the full statement balance (IN FULLL!). I know there is an instruction setup when you link your bank account but how do you tell if the direct debit (to pay the statement balance) is correctly setup. Everything seems ok and I also asked them to check but when I made a manual payment (for some strange reason they won't use the DD for the first month) it seemed like a new direct debit instruction had been setup. I'm a little confused.
Cheers

Is this for a paypal credit card or something else?
As DD would be taken by PP. You making a payment will not use the DD.Life in the slow lane1 -
Yes it's the PayPal credit card. I setup a DD to pay the statement balance.born_again said:Is this for a paypal credit card or something else?

Where did the new DD set-up appear? That is in PayPayl credit card account or the account from which a FP was made?0 -
No what I think has happened is I setup a direct debit to pay the statement balance but this will not come into use until next month. I then setup a manual payment in my PayPal account. Carrying out this payment - through open banking, sets up another DD for further one off payments but this can also take up to 5 days to come into effect. It may mean I will have to pay the outstanding balance via a debit card. What a palaver.General_Grant said:

Manual payment now showing on my account. Still can't be sure of DD until next statement which will hopefully I dictate DD will be taken.sheffieldeagle said:
