PayPal Credit Account Direct Debit

Hi
I wonder if anyone has experience of setting up a direct debit with PayPal to pay the full statement balance (IN FULLL!). I know there is an instruction setup when you link your bank account but how do you tell if the direct debit (to pay the statement balance) is correctly setup. Everything seems ok and I also asked them to check but when I made a manual payment (for some strange reason they won't use the DD for the first month) it seemed like a new direct debit instruction had been setup. I'm a little confused.
Cheers

Is this for a paypal credit card or something else?
As DD would be taken by PP. You making a payment will not use the DD.Life in the slow lane1 -
