M&S home emergency cover and Homeserve praise

A breath of fresh air dealing with both these companies and it saved me £400+ after my boiler stopped working.
I changed to M&S home insurance as they had a cheaper quote and decided to take out the £40 home emergency cover, especially as it covered oil boilers.
I had a routine service with local oil engineer not long after moving in but when my heating stopped working I rang M&S insurance who put me on to Homeserve, who were brilliant. They sent someone who diagnosed it straight away, completed the repairs the same day.

There was no excess to pay and it doesn’t affect the insurance premium claims etc.
It seems rare these days to find companies who deliver what they promise but praise definitely is due here.
