These This Morning terms and conditions, along with ITV's General Competition, Prize Draw, Vote and Poll Terms and Conditions, available here, (“General Terms”), apply to Competitions (defined below).

 

Who can enter:

 

The ‘12 at 12’ competitions in relation to the This Morning programme (the “Programme”) are open to UK, Channel Islands and Isle of Man residents aged 18 years or over only, excluding employees of the Promoter and STV Group Plc, their immediate families, and anyone else professionally connected with the Competitions (defined below).

 

By entering the Competition, you confirm the following:

You are 18 years or over and are a UK Resident;

You do not work for and are not related to anyone who works for ITV or STV;

You have read and accept these This Morning’s 12 at 12competition terms and conditions;

You have read and accept the General Terms; and

You consent to be phoned live on air and for your name, general location, details of the prizes that you have won to be announced in the Programme, on the Website, on social media platforms and/or elsewhere at the Promoter’s discretion. This is in addition to the Promoter’s rights under clause 9.5 of the General Terms; and

You will be contactable between 12.00pm and 12.15pm on the Competition closing date. 

 

Opening/closing date & time:

 

The competitions open and close for entries online via the www.itv.com/win and www.stv.tv/win websites (“Website”) and the This Morning app (“App”) as set out below:

 

Competition 1: opens at 10.00am on Friday 4 November 2022 and closes at 11.20am on Monday 7 November 2022; 

Competition 2: opens at 12.00pm on Monday 7 November 2022 and closes at 11.20am on Tuesday 8 November 2022; 

Competition 3: opens at 12.00pm on Tuesday 8 November 2022 and closes at 11.20am on Wednesday 9 November 2022; 

Competition 4: opens at 12.00pm on Wednesday 9 November 2022 and closes at 11.20am on Thursday 10 November 2022; and

Competition 5: opens at 12.00pm on Thursday 10 November 2022 and closes at 11.20am on Friday 11 November 2022,

(each a “Competition” and together the “Competitions”).

 

You must: (i) complete your entry within ten (10) minutes from clicking the ‘Enter Online Now’ button; and (ii) start your entry before the closing date and time of the relevant Competition, otherwise you will not be able to complete your entry and you will not have entered the Competition.

How to enter & cost of entry

To enter the Competition, visit the Website or the App and follow the instructions. In order to enter the Competition, you will need to register or log on to the Website. 

You will have thirty (30) seconds (“Time Limit”) to answer one (1) multiple-choice question (“Quiz”). When you are ready to confirm your answer, click the ‘Submit’ button (“Answer”). 

You will only be able to attempt the Quiz once per Competition. 

Please note that once you begin the Quiz, you cannot cancel, pause or navigate away from your Competition entry and you will not be entered into the relevant Competition. 

If you Answer within the Time Limit, you will be asked whether you would like to proceed to payment to enter into the prize draw (“Prize Draw”) for a chance to win six thousand pounds sterling (£6,000) plus additional prizes as further described below (“Prize”). If you fail to Answer within Time Limit, you will not be able to enter the Prize Draw. 

If you wish to enter into the Prize Draw, you will be invited to submit your full name and county and proceed to payment to complete your Competition entry.

A single entry costs £1.50. Paid and free entry bundles may be offered from time to time as stated on the Website or the App. You may enter via the following routes (as available on the Website or the App): 

Entry Credits: any Entry Credits won through a ‘Winsday’ prize draw which are sitting in your itv.com/win account will be automatically used to enter this Prize Draw before any other online paid entry routes are available to you (unless you are entering via Rich Communications Services (RCS)). 

Direct to Mobile Billing: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your mobile phone bill. Direct to Mobile Billing may only be available for certain mobile networks – for details see the Website. 

Paypal: follow the instructions on the Website.

Apple Pay: follow the instructions on the Website.

Debit Card: follow the instructions on the Website to charge the entry costs to your debit card. Please note that use of a debit card may incur charges from your provider.

Open Banking: follow the instructions on the Website to deduct your entry costs directly from your chosen bank account.

 

Please note if you are using a credit card with Apple Pay or Paypal, your card provider may impose surcharges. 

You will also receive one (1) ticket to participate in the ’Winsday‘ prize draw for every one (1) paid entry.

Each Winsday Prize Draw opens at 1.00 a.m each Wednesday and closes at 12:59 a.m the following Wednesday. The ticket generated from entering this Competition will be automatically entered into Winsday draw that is live at the time of your entry. Please go to https://www.itv.com/win/help.html for more information on the Winsday Prize Draw and how to check your ticket.

You must complete your Competition entry via the Website or the App within ten (10) minutes of clicking the ‘Enter Online Now’ button. You should ensure that you have an adequate internet connection before entering the Competition. If you lose your internet connection, close or refresh your browser at any point whilst making your Competition entry, or click ‘Back’ between starting the Competition and making payment, you will not be entered into the Competition, you will not be able to start your entry again and you will not be able to participate in the Competition. 

Winner selection & contact: 

Each Prize Draw will take place shortly after 11.30am on each Competition closing date. 

Subject to eligibility and compliance with all applicable terms and conditions, the first entry with the correct Answer drawn at random from all eligible and correct entries for each Prize Draw will be called live on air on the Programme between 12.00pm and 12.15pm, on that Prize Draw closing date on the phone number provided to ITV. If the entrant does not answer the phone within six (6) rings or the entrant’s phone goes to voicemail, the entrant will be deemed to have forfeited the Prizes and the Promoter will move onto the next eligible entrant and thereafter until a winner is found. For the avoidance of doubt, the six (6) rings are those heard on the Programme. ITV's decision shall be final.

The winner will be contacted in accordance with these terms and conditions and the General Terms. Clauses 5.1 to 5.3 (inclusive) of the General Terms do not apply to this Competition. 

 

If no eligible and correct entries are made for the Prize Draw by the close date of the relevant Competition, the Prize Draw will not take place and the Prizes will not be awarded to any entrant. 

Please note that the correct Quiz answer will only be revealed on-air after the closing date and time of the Competition. 

Contingency 

In the event that no winner is found on air between 12.00pm and 12.15pm, the Promoter will continue to call eligible entrants off air for a period of time following the process set out above until a winner is found and the prize will be awarded in accordance with these terms and conditions. 

Prizes: 

For each Prize Draw there is a main cash prize of £6,000 (six thousand pounds) made payable in the name of the winner only (“Main Prize”).  Payment of the Main Prize will be made by same day payment on the date that the winner provides the relevant transfer details to the Promoter (unless delayed due to circumstances outside of the Promoter’s control).

In addition, the winner will be given the opportunity to take part in a game on-air during the Programme. There will be twelve (12) boxes on set (“Boxes”) as follows: 

six (6) boxes with £1,000 (one thousand pounds); 

two (2) boxes with £500 (five hundred pounds); 

one (1) box with £250 (two hundred and fifty pounds); and 

three (3) boxes with This Morning merchandise

(the “Additional Prizes”).

The winner of each Prize Draw will be asked to select six (6) boxes and will win the Additional Prizes contained in the chosen boxes. For the avoidance of doubt, the content of the Boxes is secret and will only be revealed once the winner makes their choice.  

Please note that where the Additional Prizes are cash prizes, such cash prizes will be paid separately, by BACS in the name of the winner only.
