Received card - not in my name.

in Credit cards
I received a debit card at my home (new build - 1st tenant).
I called the bank on the fraud number I on the web. It seems I didn't get through to anyone in fraud as they aren't customer facing. The employee I spoke to said it was probably a typo and I should bin it. I really wanted some reassurance that it was simply an error and not something more serious. Sadly the employee couldn't help and we just went round in circles until I gave up.
Should I be worried? No one has lived at this address before. The name on the card looks odd (but may not be) Miss MAME R BA
I'm not sure what to do now... so I'm here for advice from you folks.
Thanks

Check your credit files, to see if it is showing on there. Or as they said may be someone used the wrong post code for their address & it came up as yours.Life in the slow lane0

Put it back in the envelope, write "Return to Sender, Addressee Unknown" on the front and stick it back in a postbox. The bank will trigger its own processes once its received.
Can take a little while so just repeat with any other post received.
If its a new build there can be a number of headaches with people getting confused over door number and plot number etc, I know with out last new build place the plot numbers were all one higher than the door number, so we were door 9 plot 10. The front door even had both numbers on it (the plot just in chalk or something). We kept getting post for door 8 because they'd changed addresses early and got mixed up.0 -
Thanks... I think I was probably over reacting in hindsight. I'll do as you suggest and return the card to the bank and worry no more.0
