Council PCN - Colour 'other'

Hi All.
I've had a council PCN for 'one or 2 wheels on a footpath' the fact I was parked on private land behind the footpath and was barely hanging over the pavement is a point of discussion and I will appeal on this basis anyway, but the ticket states the vehicle colour as 'other' - OK the vehicle is dirty but the colour is unmistakeable, is there a technicality here that coudl help or boost the appeal ? Car colour is not going to get this cancelled but pepipoo is the place to take this, we major on private parking charges here
