These are the terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) that govern the relationship between you, the entrant (“you”, “your(s)”) and Brita Water Filter Systems Limited, Brita House, 9 Granville Way, Bicester, Oxfordshire, OX26 4JT (the “Promoter”, “we”, “our”, “us”) in respect of the Promotion.

ELIGIBILITY

1. The Promotion is only open to residents in the United Kingdom (excluding Northern Ireland) aged at least eighteen (18) years old who install and register a Promotion Product during the Promotion Period (both defined below).
2. The following are not eligible to participate in this Promotion: (i) employees of the Promoter, its respective subsidiaries and associated companies, any advertising and promotional agencies or the prize suppliers, (ii) immediate family members of such employees or of anyone with whom such employees are domiciled and (iii) the independent observer. In these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family” includes mother, father, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters and spouse.
3. The Promoter assumes that by entering the Promotion you have legal capacity to enter the Promotion and agree to the Terms and Conditions (i.e. that you are of sufficient age and mental capacity and are entitled to be legally bound in contract).

HOW TO ENTER

To participate in the Promotion, you must enter the following details on our contest form on the BRITA website www.brita.co.uk/perfect-pairings:

1. The name and email address ("Contact Details") that you provide will count as your entry to the Promotion (the “Entry”). We will automatically enter you into the Promotion with the submission of your Entry, provided that you have given us a valid name and valid email address, that the name that you submit is the authorised account holder of the corresponding email address, and you consent to receive an email from us. We will accept only one (1) Entry per registration of a Promotion Product and any duplicate Entries that you make will be automatically disqualified. If more than one person attempts to enter the Promotion by registering the same Promotion Product we will only accept the first registration. You may submit one (1) Entry for each registration of a Promotion Product.
2. No entry fee is required.

PROMOTION PERIOD

1. The promotion will run from 00.01 (GMT) on 08/11/2022 until 23.59 (GMT) on 31/01/2023 (“Promotion Closing Date”) (the “Promotion Period”) and is open to UK residents over the age of 18. The Winners will be selected and announced no later than midnight (GMT) on 28/02/2023.
2. Only Entries received by or on behalf of the Promoter during the Promotion Period will be accepted into the Promotion. Any Entry submitted outside the Promotion Period shall be ineligible.

PRIZES

1. 1 x UK-based experience at Whatley Manor for two people to include the chefs menu for two in The Dining Room, a one night stay in two superior rooms, breakfast, seasonal fruit plate and full use of the Aquarias Spa. Worth a minimum of £2,000. (1 prize per the main winner)
2. 3 x £100 Virgin Experience Days e-vouchers (1 voucher per runner-up winner)
3. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is non-transferable or convertible to cash or other substitutes. If due to circumstances beyond our control we are unable to provide the stated prize, we reserve the right to award a substitute prize of equal or greater value. 
4. All Prizes are subject to the terms and conditions of the supplier.

PRIZE DRAW

1. The prize draw will take place within one month of the last day of the Entry Period at the Promoter’s offices at the address set out above. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible Entries received during the relevant Entry Period in the presence of an independent observer and in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
2. We will endeavour to notify the winner by email within one month of the date of the prize draw and the Prize will be sent by email or post within seven (7) business days of such notification date.
3. A Winner must communicate with the Promoter via email within 48 hours of being informed that they have won a Prize. In the event that a Winner does not, within 48 hours of being informed that they are a Winner, provide sufficient details to enable the Promoter to arrange the prize, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative Winner for that Prize, from all other proper and valid entries that were received for promotion. Failure to claim the Prize by the time or in the manner specified will make any claim to the Prize invalid.
4. We reserve the right to select an alternative winner in the event that we have reasonable grounds for believing that the winner has contravened any of these Terms and Conditions.
5. The details of the winners and their home city will be available for one (1) month after the end of the prize draw by calling 01869 365851. The call is standard rate and should last approx. 2 minutes

GENERAL

1. By participating in the Promotion, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and by our decisions, which are final in all matters relating to these Terms and Conditions, the Promotion, the draws and/or the results and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
2. We accept no responsibility for any illegible or incomplete Entries or any incorrect or inaccurate information or lost or late Entries and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to Entries lost or delayed whether or not arising during operation or transmission as a result of server functions, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer hardware or software malfunctions, virus, bugs or other causes outside its control or failure to receive Entry information by us on account of technical problems or traffic congestion affecting the Entry collection process.
3. Personal information collected from Entrants will be used by us solely in connection with the Promotion and will not be disclosed to any third party except for the purpose of operating the Promotion and fulfilling the Prize where applicable. The winner's information will be shared by the independent observer with us, specifically the winner’s name and e-mail address, only to the extent that this information is required to award the Prize for the Promotion. 4. You shall at all times act in accordance with all applicable laws in the United Kingdom.  We may terminate any agreement with you with immediate effect should we, in our sole discretion, deem that you have contravened any applicable laws. We shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses incurred by you arising out of any termination under this rule.
5. By entering this Promotion, you agree to the use of your name, and/or photograph or other likeness, as well as your appearance at publicity events without any additional compensation and as required by the Promoter if you are declared a winner.
6. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
