Also, if I send this email/letter, does this put the whole thing on hold? Because the end of the 30 days is on 26th November but it says on the SAR page that they may take up to 2 months to respond so I'm worried i'll miss the deadline they've set.
If you submit a SAR, the recipient has one calendar month to respond; if they continue to insist on 2 months or fail to respond in one month, immediately send a complaint to the ICO.
They've already replied and asked me to supply my photo ID AND proof of ownership of the car... Not sure if the proof of ownership is a trap or not? Surely photo ID should be sufficient?
It's the norm to send a copy of your V5C (logbook), but no photo ID. Instead, send a copy of redacted utility bill showing your name and address, or a copy of the NtK you have received from them.
Oh right. I've sent a photo of my passport... I'll have to dig out my log book.

What should I expect to happen now, once I've sent the request for the info they have on me? As stated, it's CST Law who have sent the LBC -- how likely are they to continue pursuing this and what should I do once I've received the SAR info back from Euro Car Parks?

You sent strangers from a rogue industry, full photos of your passport, showing all the details, DOB and passport number?  I'd be demanding they delete that data immediately,  No-one needs your passport.

    The boys in Calais do!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    As above.

They should already know that no photo I.D. should be requested as the ICO spell out here:-

"ICO - How to deal with a request for information: a step-by-step guide

Step two: Know who you’re dealing with

If you’re not sure the requester is who they say they are, you must check this quickly. You can ask questions that only they would know, about reference numbers or appointment details for example. Or you can ask for ID that you can actually verify. There’s little point insisting on photo ID if you don’t know what the requester looks like – it should be proportionate."

I am sure (hopefully) there will not be any future credit card/loans/mobile phone contracts taken out in your name.

Look at the documents ECP send you. Check for any evidence in them that helps you.

Have you read the CST Group thread I signposted you to yet?  Why do you think your case might be different?

i'm just asking for your thoughts on what they're likely to do.. tbh, it's quite hard to find what you're looking for there. The long, sprawling threads have acronyms and it makes it difficult to find out what you're asking, and you were the one who closed my other thread down because of "forum etiquette" so i thought I'd ask you directly...

why do people on forums always have such a massive stick up their ar*e?

Neither CST nor Euro Car Parks are likely to do anything.

Come back if you get a small claim though. We have a 99% win rate consistently since around 2016 when we first caught up with the influx of court claims.
