nyk - Oyster is the name given to a pre-paid kind of travel card in London - it can be used on buses.
Dinner is from the slow cooker tonight. 3 pork chops for £1.60 (yellow stickered) that I pulled out of the freezer with a load of casserole vegetables, potatoes and a packet of chicken chasseur mix from the cupboard.
My 'Bite Discount Card' just expired and I have never even used it! It gets you 20& off food and drink at railway stations. It's a great idea if you go to busy stations, completely rubbish when your local stations are all of the type you pray the train slows down enough to let you grab a handle and jump onboard as it passes betwwn the raised wooden pavements in the middle of nowhere. I think they call them stations, you can tell by the nearby bridge for crossing the tracks :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

I'm back to being obsessive about my electricity again as used too much over xmas and new year: Since 8.30 this morning I've used £1.30 including the 15p that is deducted every 101 minutes for the debt, so that's 55p for my electric and 75p off my debt.

Is there a slice of cake left for me? It looks yummy! And as I'm trying to lose some weight, virtual cake eating is the only kind I'm allowed
I have a breadmaker (from Freecycle) that we haven't used yet, those lovely photos have inspired me to have a go at the weekend. I can't eat too much bread but OH does and it costs a fortune!
Well, we were off to the cinema on Orange Wednesday but the car won't start at all! I'm getting really scared now... In an ideal world, we'd live without the car and use our bikes but it's just not possible for me at the mo, and if I don't have a car, I'll be v isolated. Anyone got a magic wand?
I'll be checking my meters in the morning now as well - crazy? we'll be absolutely raving mad by then end of the year!:rotfl:The Good Life here we come! The 1,000 Day Challenge:Feb 16, 2016500/30,000
