I would like to try this challenge as well please, how do I start, I am on a very limited income and this would really help:beer::beer::beer:I am at a Crossroads in my life and deciding which path to take:coffee:

Just wanted to add that £4000 will be my maximum too. This does not include rent but does include utility bills and lots of necessary haircuts

Well seeing as Nyk is my bottom kicking buddy I guess I have to join this. We are a family of 5, 1 teen and two girls who eat for England so realistically I need to balance that with what I'm including.
So, I won't take rent, council tax gas, electricity or water out of the £4,000. I will include petrol, food, clothing and all other non essential spending.
Ok, off to sort out my spreadsheet for 2008.
Toto, that looks terrible!! :rotfl: Honest, folks, I haven't a clue who this other person is and I would never track anyone down and kick their bottoms! Well... perhaps in a very virtual and metaphorical manner, and only if they insist that it helps them stay focussed on their targetsI reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Shall I mark you down for £4000 or have you a different target? I'm really looking forward to the 2008 challenge as it'll be brilliant having so many others to compare notes :jI reserve the right not to spend.

Moi? Coy? Never! I'm only a mean and miserable, oops, I mean a sensible and frugal Scot. Look at YOUR location! Ain't ever going to find you to kick ye bum when ye won't allow any lights over on yonder darkside. :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.

Blimey, this is a hard challenge. Although I'm now debt free, my circumstances changed and I'm also on a relative low wage.
I don't think I can do it, but I might be brave and bang a few figures into the calculator."Stay Wonky":D

Can you count me in?
I haven't checked any of my figures (they're at home. I'm at work) but 4K looks a good number.
What I'm not going to include is my flights to & from OH (and his flights home) which I've budgeted £4,000 pa for.
My family is sometimes just me and the cat, and sometimes includes 3 kids & their partners.0
