My total spends for February came to: £148.41 so that's a good month! SO:
    Jan: £244.38
    Feb: £148.41
So the total spent so far is: £392.79 :j
I worked out that I'm £262.41 UNDER BUDGET! :T which is great!
so £4,000 minus £392.79 means that I have £3,607.21 left for the year, which equals £306.72 per month OR £11.78 per day.
I love this challenge, lol! :rotfl::D

I really do need to get my head screwed back on, am getting myself all muddled up. I started my challenge on 31st Dec so my new month started yesterday - luckily it was a NSD so don't have to alter my figures.

I've already pledged to start making my own bread (or at least trying to!) this month, and I'm also going to get myself some soap nuts as they've received pretty good feedback generally. This won't save me money as I've been using Eco Balls but I feel they're coming to the end of their life so am keen to try the nuts. Can someone post the link for ordering some please? (I remember some people said some of the ones they ordered weren't as good but can't remember which is which ). Anyone else fancy pledging to make one change (or more if you're keen) this month?

I'll pledge something - I need to stop buying so many snacks and unhealthy foods when I know I've got to sit in the library for hours - I'm putting on weight and its not good for my bank balance either! :rotfl:

How do I do what? :o Its just for me and I'm pretty careful at what I spend most of the time - I'm at uni so I don't pay any bills so that's a bonus. Thanks!! x

Can you get glasses from Oxfam...have I missed something?

Sorry, FunBrum, 'Oxfam glasses' is a lovely dream but - no! If you can't use the online suppliers, Specsavers sometimes do a BOGOF on their glasses. I bought one pair of varifocals and got a free second pair that just do middle distance (saves eyestrain while using the computer).
