Just yell if I'm out of order for asking, but what is 'spending 160 - 100' relating to, and are you sure you have covered enough in your car expenses for insurance, tax, MOT, servicing and breakdown recovery if you have it?
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

No no way out of order, felt that I was for listing a full soa!!! TBH this is kind of beer money and general day to day spending. I have started a sheet in my little book to write all my spending down and my OH has said that his is going to stop drinking in the new year.
The £200 is for 2 adults and 2 kids. I have started to do my shop fortnightly on line and seem to be spending £70 - 80 one week and then £10 for bits the next.
I think that I will see how the first month goes and knock that off the remaining months...Dec could be a very tight month!!!!

Hi guys, I needed to buy a Christmas present for my nephew who is visiting tomorrow, but managed to get a fab gift in the sale at half price - is far better than I would normally get so it has now become a joint present for him and his younger brother!! This means I have the present that I would have given his brother, to put back in the cupboard for next year! One less thing to spend my precious pennies on!

Brought home a bit of food from Mum's yesterday as well, and I think we have enough to last us until new year, but we are not exactly over running with stocks of food so an early "big" grocery shop will be on the cards.

  • Riq are you saying you are paying £1000 per month for car insurance!

If you are - well i wont say that is insane but that is what i am thinking.

If you can afford it - good luck to you.

You could buy a brilliant car for £12,000 rather than just insure one.

    No offense meant Riq
