Trusted device with yahoo mail

I used to get a trusted device checkbox when logging on with 2sv.
Now that I need that, having accidentally deleted cookies, it is no longer there.
How do I make my laptop a trusted device again?

https://help.yahoo.com/kb/add-two-step-verification-extra-security-sln5013.html makes no mention of trusted devices, I presume they've changed the way this works in favour of the authenticator app or phone support.

From reading the link, I thought so too.
Though it looks as the app is not fully functional yet!

Looking at your link for devices, I could see my laptop, but with no way of making it a trusted device.

There was also a section with the heading: 

Turn on device notifications

which also hints at moving away from the trusted device designation.
