QrizB said: If you've turned down the flow temperature (which is a commonly recommended efficiency measure) you'll have reduced the output from the radiator. your options then are:
- Turn the flow temperature up;
That is actually a valid point.. How hot is the radiator getting, and is it appropriately sized for the room ?There are plenty on online calculators you can enter the room dimensions in to and they will spit out a figure (usually as a BTU rating). But these calculators usually assume a water temperature of 70°C, so if you are running at a lower flow temperature, the radiator needs to be increased in size.Another question - Has the whole heating system been properly balanced ?i.e. Do all the radiators get up to the same sort of temperature in about the same time ?
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Some rooms / houses are just difficult to heat. My Box room (now used for WFH) is often 12c in the mornings, even at this time of year. Despite new double glazing and so much insulation in the loft you can't fit anything up there, its made little difference, if the room is losing more heat than you are inputting then its never going to get warm, even with the source of heat running 24/7."Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0
