Unfortunately the diagnostic charge is pretty standard. You should get the fee back if the fault's covered by the warranty. I would think the alternator would be covered assuming the AA man's diagnosis is correct.0

Thanks as stated by me but more concisely.chrisw said:Unfortunately the diagnostic charge is pretty standard. You should get the fee back if the fault's covered by the warranty. I would think the alternator would be covered assuming the AA man's diagnosis is correct.
I also said that the fee may not be returned as at times a diagnostic shows no fault as the fault is intermittent.0 -
Call the dealer you left it with and ask to be put through to the dealership customer services manager to make a complaint.Golden_Glow90 said:
What can I do here? Is there anyone else I can contact? I’ve had extended warranty with car companies before but it’s always been so easy to claim, I’ve literally taken the car to a garage and they’ve settled the bill with the warranty people. Why do evans halshaw make it so difficult?
If that doesn't work then go to the main complaints process https://www.evanshalshaw.com/customer-care/0
