My son is 16. He's dropping out of college. He receives DLA (waiting for a PIP decision at the moment) and we get the the high disablement premium component of tax credits.
Will we lose all the tax credits now?

What is he going to do instead of college? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Will we lose all the tax credits now?Once he leaves college then yes you will need to report the changes to child benefit and tax credits and both will stop for him.He will be able to claim Universal Credit in his own right because of his health condition. He will need a fit note and you'll need to report his health condition when he claims it. He will be entitled to £265.31 per month.Edit to add because i forgot about the education rules for England. If you live in England the following will apply. https://www.gov.uk/know-when-you-can-leave-schoolEngland
You can leave school on the last Friday in June if you’ll be 16 by the end of the summer holidays.
You must then do one of the following until you’re 18:
- stay in full-time education, for example at a college
- start an apprenticeship or traineeship
- spend 20 hours or more a week working or volunteering, while in part-time education or training

I've been researching and apparently he can register with the careers service. This will give us a tax credits and child benefit extension1
