Deceased executor

Just some advice needed
My auntie died recently, but her will was made in 1984
In that will she named 2 executors, both whom have died
I am one of two beneficiaries
So I understand I can take the role of executor and apply for probao, but do I need to prove that the executors have died, which means finding death certificates?

When I applied for probate for my mum, the second executor had died. I had to provide her death certificate.1

Do I need to provide death certificates for Both deceased executors?0 -
Check the www.GRO.gov website, not a fake name one that charges to look it up.
Since you know the executors are dead, presumably you know when and where they died, so it should be relatively easy to find the entries? Check if the Probate Registry require certificates or will accept pdfs?
Or ask the person who organised their funeral?
If it's a more common name and you are unsure of details like age, you want to check which local libraries have access to Ancestry as they have access to BMD indexes for free up to 2007.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
