£200 per night for a central London Premier inn isn't unusual nowadays.baser999 said:£200 at Premier Inn in London? Are you sure 😂
Here's just a few for a rooms for the middle of next week:
but as already mentioned, it's all down to supply and demand and I'm sure that those prices are in line with other similar places in the area.

I absolutely like Premier Inn and their clean etc.
I do look at other hotels a bit further outside London, but I guess it is also the sign of our changing times.
Thank you all.0 -
No one is charging you if you want to check out an hour earlier... an hour later they will do.SummerSun10 said:Some hotels are charging you if you want to check in or out an hour earlier.
What replies do you want? Commiserations that you cannot afford Premier Inn in london?SummerSun10 said:Replies appreciated.
As others have explained... pricing is dynamic based on demand, 3 weeks ago it was about £160 to stay in Premier Inn in the City, a bit less for the Hub. Demand goes up, prices go up. You could always look going further afield, Bexleyheath is £75/night or Croydon £103 or downgrade to Travelodge who are charging under £100 per night for Zone 1 options or £60 for Croydon

We are also at the start of the run up to Christmas so it's likely there are more people wanting to spend a couple of nights in London. My sister-in-law and her husband are taking a one night trip to London, including transport, a show and accommodation. That is costing about £600. I would guess about 1/3rd of that is accommodation.

Apologies. Should have stated ' Holiday Inn Express' - we found them nice/clean 24/7 front desk, ample parking for free but depends where you stay and full English 10/10 inc in price rooms large for the money and no pets at possibly all of their sites.diystarter7 said:

I have absolutely no idea why you think regulation would be needed here.
Are you going to complain about The Savoy, The Ritz or any other hotel that start at grand a night for the cheapest room?
Its a bit of a strange complaint tbh.1 -
