    Finally emptied my piggy bank and took it to the bank where they have an automatic counting machine which produces a receipt which then needs to be taken to the teller to add that amount to your account.  £54.26 in total deposited!!!  I'll let it accumulate again for a few weeks and then repeat the exercise.

          2. #3 checking in to say I am at the magic £50  mark, which considering this is for Christmas and Birthdays and I have already dipped into it to buy cards for the year, I am quite pleased about. 
            Making the debt go down and savings go up

             Mortgage Free December 9th 2024! 
            18mths ahead of schedule.  Since 2022 we paid over £15K in OPs.

            Just opened the Yorkshire Christmas regular saver at 4.5% paying out 31 October. You can put in between  £1 and £300  a month.
