Morning all.
No stars to fascinate me, just thick clouds. I need coffee.

Back under the duvet again. 😀
Last night was chilly, I turned the electric blanket again on at about 3am. Before I went to bed I had a lovely shower so was very cosy at first.I hope that everyone is doing well. Happy Saturday to all.12 -
Good morning, thanks for starting Gers. It's not frosty like it was yesterday morning, cold though. The new flooring was laid in the kitchen yesterday, and looks very nice, trouble is I don't want anyone to walk on it! The guys kindly moved the freezer back into the kitchen for us before they went, then dh put the kickboards back under the base units after I'd cleaned them. There's still a bi fold door to go back on into the little hell hole I call a utility room, but it'll get done today. That was the main event yesterday, plus a bit of washing and I cleaned the bathroom.Don't know what's happening today, nothing in particular I don't thinkI'll go out and do a bit of shopping I think..Hope everyone has a good day today, and that our poorly and/or fed up people feel a bit better.Take care folks.12

Morning All
Back to rain today, yesterday wasn't too bad, the bedding almost dried outside, just needed airing off by the fire. Today's washing is on the pulley.
I'm off down south today, can't wait to see my friend, haven't seen her for 3 1/2 years - the last time I went to Oz. Hoping the flight isn't delayed as I haven't got long there, coming back tomorrow afternoon.
Sorry you had a fall out with your pal taff, always horrid when that happens.
Glad you got the pram home discretely dp1.
Hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend.
Take care. XX11 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. Marginally warmer here this morning but still nippy. It looks rather cloudy too and there is light rain forecast for later.
I don't think I will be out anywhere today. It's pointless going out just for the sake of it! I have plenty of jobs waiting in the wings if I get bored! No cooking today just mw warming! Hm soup and sarnie for lunch and savoury mince and saute potatoes for tea. I made a batch yesterday and left a dish out for tonight. It's rather tasty.
Yesterday's vet bill was £75.07 so near to what I was expecting. These monthly bills are mounting up and I daren't think how much she has cost me since I adopted her. But I wouldn't be without her so I don't dwell on it!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies or fed up. The mum's seem to be getting back to normal. Take care one and all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"12 -

Morning all and thanks for the start @Gers x
Chilly start here and has just started to rain. I managed to get a wash load dry outside yesterday. One of the neighbours is having an extension and yesterday they were tarring the flat roof, so it was quite smelly. Luckily it hasn't transferred onto the clothing!
I'm off to FC shortly. Not expecting a loss this week as it's been TOTM and I've felt too sluggish to go for a run. We shall see. Will have a wander around the town afterwards. I'm picking up bits and pieces here and there for 'the C word' as have a few nieces and nephews to buy for.
We hope to put some pictures up this weekend now the decorating is finished. I'm also ploughing on with a crocheted blanket for DS2. We are going to visit him in Canterbury tomorrow and take him for Sunday lunch.
So lovely that you have Sparkle for company @TravellingAbuela and that you take such good care of her. She's lucky to have you as her cat mum.
Happy new flooring @ScarletRibbons - I'm still marvelling at ours - it's made such a difference.
Enjoy your meet up with your friend @camelot1001
Have a good day all

A pottering about day for me today too and I'm busy sorting photos to order some prints so I'll do some more of that too. DD and little one have been staying with friends but may be home later so I could have a little guest tonight.
Damp and drizzly and chilly this morning - little kitten has been in the garden but was quickly back in when next door's dog barked. She's now lying on top of the warm kitchen radiator which can't be very comfy!
Well I'm waffling so I'll wish you all a happy Saturday.
Camelot enjoy your weekend with your friend x

Morning all, after a lovely sunny day yesterday we're back to dark, gloomy and wet. I had a productive day and managed to fill a green waste bin, then filled a cs bag with bits and bobs 👏 I washed everything in the washing basket and emptied the backpack that Mr Fix It uses when out walking, mine was done previously. The contents of tops and lightweight trousers were washed along with our sofa fleece throws and now I've replaced the throws with our thick fluffy waffle ones from the caravan. Most of the washing was dried outside but a couple of things were put on the airer overnight. Dad was ok last night and his meds have been delivered, phew! I shall have a think about a shopping list ready for next week as we're taking Dad to the new Aldis, so I might as well do a stock up shop and get some C things while we're there.
Today I need to search for a button to match another one or as near as, then the day's my own to do what I want. Tea tonight will be hm sweet and sour chicken with rice.
taff I'm so sorry your friend was unkind, many hugs. I'm another one who goes over conversations in my head after the fact, then adds in bits I should have said.
Izzy enjoy your week off, perhaps the boss will appreciate everything you do while your away.
Have a good day if you can
Take care all. Thinking of the poorly ones.
nan xx

Morning all
Pouring with rain here and meant to be all day, I am quite glad as the next village along have a firework display tonight and our village have one tomorrow, the dogs hate the bangs so it wont bother me if they get cancelled.
DD and I are going to sort out the loft room today, its a room off of the main bedroom and when dd moved in we just crammed all of her stuff in there so we will give it a good sort out and tidy, unfortunatly dd's flat sale has fallen through as they wont allow her to take her dog with her and she wont go without her so they will be here for a while yet which is fine with us but I do feel sorry for her.
Prawn Saganaki for dinner tonight with garlic bread, dd will cook as this is her speciality, I am looking forward to it.
OH will get the dogs out for a good long walk today in the hope that they will be too tired to notice the fireworks, we give them some natural calming dog treats too which help.
Camelot enjoy seeing your friend xxx
Taff im so sorry to hear you have fallen out with your friend xxx
Have good days all xx9
