Morning all, not feeling it much today, I am out of sorts and grumpy after a difference of opinion with a very old friend. She's accused me of not going somehwere out of fear, but making it sound like it's an unfounded and irrational fear. I'm annoyed she has belittled my [what I think are] genuine worries. I am seriously annoyed at her, especially because she attempted to use her NLP stuff on me and thought I hadn't noticed. Not a massive occurrence in the grand scheme of things but still enough to play on my mind...Don't you hate it when you have new conversations that never happened in your head?
Anyway, seeing another friend for a catch up after and a quiz tonight so that'll keep me occupied. Plus making food for the quiz friend, am trying a chicken liver and bacon pasta sauce [ saw the recipe in the paper] , she's a lover of liver and bacon, I have chicken livers in the freezer, I'll give it a go...I do have back up enchiladas as well though in case...and soup..
Scarlet, hope the flooring exceeds the memory of it!TA, I didn't realise it wasn't a modern phenomenon if you know what I mean [modern as in last twenty years..]. Reminds me of T&Gs for anyone who remembers them. Izzy does he not realise people with brains think that there may be more stuff in the warehouse behind the shop floor? Pah! Rosy, Ruby, another one here worried about the bills and doing my best not to use it.. I mean, wood is expensive but it's not as expensive as electric and gas. Anwya, sorry for the doom and gloom folks but it's not always rosy in the garden here...Take care all, have a good one if you can.

Afternoon everyone
Feeling a little chilly here as I'm having lunch in the kitchen with the back door open while little kitten has a wander in the back garden - she keeps coming back and peeping round the corner to see if I'm still here.
Been down to mam and dads this morning to do his banking. Little one's birthday pram is now hidden in mam's wardrobe - sorry Nelski, I didn't need to push it down - it folded up!
Going to sort out some paperwork this afternoon - a job I've been putting off for ages and I'm busy sorting out photos too so I can order some.
Hope everyone has a good day today x10 -
TAFF they started operating in the mid 50's but it would be mid 70's when we first shopped there. I am told they have upgraded from the original old mill to more upmarket premises since then. Btw I don't recall hearing of T & G's, maybe they didn't operate up north!
I was sorry to hear of your upset caused by a thoughtless old friend. Some people need to think before they open their mouths. x"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"9 -
Hugs to @-taff regarding your friend. Yes, absolutely I replay conversations AND add bits in (don't judge me!!) and it's infuriating!
