Not intending to work more than a year, can use a computer and basic excel. Pretty fit. Don’t mind driving.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

Suitable occupations really.

Project mansgement
Reception

Hospitality

Social media content
Data entry
Call center
Facilities management
Best thing is to look at the websites for vacancies and read the job descriptions. If you can do it and fancy it, apply and look for others in a similar field or with a similar job title.

Supermarket delivery driver? Several of our regular drivers are in a similar ballpark age-wise.0

Contact all supermarkets local to you.
They are all looking for Christmas staff.
Years ago I started in a shop as a 3 month Christmas temp. Left after 2 years.
Often a foot in the door is all you need.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -
I work for Iceland and they are desperate for home delivery drivers. You can go to other supermarkets (I only stay where I am because it's a 10 minute commute) and get 50p or £1 per hour more but they will expect you to do things by the book for that kind of money. As stated by others, on Indeed or you could just walk into a store and inquire as sometimes they don't like to fork out for the advertising fees.

warehouse operative? (not to be confused with a whorehouse operative as a colleague put on a letter to a customer once...)
there are a lot of computer print out and packing stuff for delivery sort of jobs available this time of year. all that pre Christmas rush stuff to be done. I expect that a number of these companies get a lot of people applying who will be gung ho for the first 2 weeks and then start being a pain. As a result they might appreciate having a good mix including someone who has a solid history of employment (which I assume you might do). Not just huge places like Amazon but a local to me importer of French soap needed someone - looking to hire until Christmas with an eye to extending into next year. I would have applied myself as I like the shop but the hours didn't fit my life and I already have a part time job which I'm still learning.
