Loft conversion

Based in Lewes (South East), our loft is currently boarded and has electricity. Been advised a loft conversion (with dormer, no bathroom), would be a minimum of £70,000. Could go up to £90,000. I was expecting between £30,000-£40,000!

Apparently material price has gone up a lot in the last few months. One family member had a loft conversion done for about £80,000, including a bathroom and all finishing, earlier last year. She’s is based in south east London as well. We’ve been told that if she had the extension a few months later she would have to pay way more…0
