in Credit cards
Hi guys
Is anyone with a vanquis credit card having issues with the 'payit' feature via thier app??
I tend to always use it and had been doing without any issues via an iPhone, recently changed to android.
All day yesterday I was trying to make a payment via the payit feature but the app gets stuck on 'transferring to your bank'. Uninstalling and reinstall of the app doesn't resolve it
Is there likely to be a security feature on the android phone or with my bank that's blocking the request?
Any help of advice is appreciated

I don't have the card or use the feature, but if you open up a statement there should be instructions on which details to use for a Faster Payment.

I have this card.
If you go to Payments at the bottom of the screen (on the app version) and after clicking on it, click on Make a Payment and then Other amount (or whichever option you are wanting - either min Payment or Statement Balance).
Enter the value you wish to pay (by pressing onto the box to enter the amount) and then Done which will take you to the Continue option and from there you can choose either Payit, card ending with xxxx or Pay with another card - assuming you choose the middle option of paying with card ending xxxx - you can use this option whilst sorting out the Payit option
**NOTE**
I personally go this route rather than the Payit route so cannot help with that issue unfortunately

"why is that frisbee getting bigger?"
...and then it hits me

Jesus loves you...A nice thing to hear in church, but a horrible thing to hear in a Mexican prison

A couple of days a go when I logged into Vanquis a message popped up about PayIt saying there had been problems and any late payments would have the charges refunded.0

Yes, I had this. So I stopped using it and instead pay by debit card. It still takes the same amount of time as the payit feature. Just less stressful and less likely to pay twice.0
