I have just been billed for last months elec, and pretty pleased with it. Last month i was billed £98.35 for September (174.3kWh) & this month i was billed £59.25 for October (179.2kWh).
This is one of the things i like about Agile, you can use more, but pay less when prices are cheaper. But can someone help me work out what the above would have been on the Flex tariff please? I am poor with maths!

The above is just units btw, not including SC's

It varies a bit by region, but if you assume 35p/kWh on the 'Flex' tariff then it would have been roughly for £63 October.Depending on which version of Agile you are on, you may have had a saving on the standing charge.September would have been below 35p/kWh as it was on the old cap, but if you use 35p for comparison purposes that would have been £61.1

There's an app called Octopus Watch (small purchase fee, I think £1.99) which will show this info on a daily basis.Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Including SC over 30 days would have made a total of £62.30.October's EPG cap is about 34p/kWh and 46p/day so 179.2kWh would have cost £60.93. Including SC over 31 days would have made a total of £75.19.N. Hampshire, he/him. Octopus Intelligent Go elec & Tracker gas / Vodafone BB / iD mobile. i have just gone on to Octopus Agile and have solar panels and a battery which is charging on cheap rate electricity between 2 and 4am.
If I sign up for export to grid for surplus energy from my panels do Octopus credit monthly and do they use the generation figure derived from my smart meter , the second display ??
does anyone have an example of such an Octopus Agile bill?
thanks0 -
All time of use tariff statements have daily pages and are raised monthly. The statement will show your import total charges and your export income. For export, under SEG, you are paid for what is exported as measured by your smart meter. Your smart meter will have 2 MPANs.brya said:i have just gone on to Octopus Agile and have solar panels and a battery which is charging on cheap rate electricity between 2 and 4am.
