Hi all
Is there anything wrong with the AA's internet savings account? It pays 5.31% which is just about the best around now A&L have stopped theirs, yet it does not show up on any best buy sites and doesn't seem to have a mention on here.

.6% first year bonus.
The AA Internet Savings Account has a first year bonus. The bonus is calculated daily and paid on the day of the first year account anniversary. If the account is closed before the first anniversary then the bonus will be paid for the period up until the day before the account was closed.
Don't know about the guarantees on the a/c but looks good if you want it for a year or less though.0 -
The only wrong is that this rate includes 12-month interest bonus of 0.6%. However, there are no penalties for withdrowing funds or closing account during this period (AFAIK).0
