My return has been lost but I have no royal mail tracking code

Hi folks, I recently returned goods AX paris that I purchased through the klarna bnpl option. I returned my items with the qr code supplied to me by royal mail via the ax paris website. I did receive a tracking code but I have stupidly misplaced that (most likely in the bin). I registered the return with klarna and they recently got back to me and said it was unusual that they refund hadn't been processed by ax paris. When I contacted ax paris directly they told me they couldn't do anything without the tracking code or knowing the weight of the parcel to check their returned items. I have read pages online that say once a tracking code has been lost it can no longer be produced again. I have let klarna know this and also emailed ax paris again asking what I should do as its more than likely they have my returned parcel but just can't go pick it out as they have no weight. They advised me to just contact royal mail. Is there nothing else I can do? I returned the full order.

If you scan the QR code using a smart phone camera you should be able to see the reference that applies to it and then ask Royal Mail if they can provide you with the tracking number.
I would be very surprised if the retailer isn't given the tracking number by Royal Mail when the QR code is scanned - would be logical.0 -
Thank you, I will try this. Well this was my thoughts, and I've read some stuff online that says once it's been logged then the company should have a note of it but they haven't mentioned. I think they're being awkward.0
