Looking for advice as my 81 year’s old mother had home insurance from quotemehappy for October 2021 but wasn’t aware that they had auto renewal so purchased a different home insurance at nearly half the price to only find out they renewed it any way without out any contact with her as she has no capability to use the internet i her son am trying to help her but the insurance company asked for personal information which was sent and then nothing no response no way to talk to a person she’s absolutely furious with herself and them any advice please

    Part of the brands stance is that non-claims issues have to be dealt with online so you wont find a telephone number to ring.

    Worst case they'll cancel the policy with a pro-rate refund so she loses 1 months premiums or if you show she bought it elsewhere then they may be willing to cancel the policy back to inception for a full refund.

    I'd certainly speak to whoever help her setup the policy last year as it appears they are the ones that have lead to this situation.
