How do I stop this smoke/CO2 Alarm beeping intermittently?

As above, it seems to be a smoke detector called an "MCT-425"
Here is the data sheet that explains how you disassemble it (i.e. take the cover off), and how you replace the battery - or remove the battery to stop it beeping:

The chirping is always in the middle of the night, because people have their heating off at night. Batteries are less efficient when cold, so the chirping starts at night time. Annoying, isn’t it?chrisw said:
The chirping invariably starts at 3am as well.Jenna_Appleseed said:
(also found out some alarms chirp when the batteries running out, others just keep randomly setting of the alarm at night.)The joys of standing under each one for 2 minutes trying to determine which one the chirp's coming from!No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?0
