    8 of those 33 years were also in a contracted out Final Salary scheme. Is that relevant?

    Is there a COPE shown in your forecast?

    At 6/4/2016

    26/30 x £119.30 + (Additional State Pension - Deduction for Contracting Out).

    (26/35 x £155.65) - COPE.

    Your starting amount was the higher of the two.

    If less than a full NSP, contributions /credits from 6/4/16 onwards enabled you to increase the pension up to (but not in excess of) a NSP.

    You may have reached full NSP.

    Does the forecast indicate that you must continue to contribute to improve your forecast?

    If not, you have reached the maximum.

    However, if you return to work and earn the requisite amount, you will still pay NI until you reach SPA.

    It does look like you are there.  As a sense check, how many post 2016 years do you have and how much is the COPE ?

    @xylophone @molerat

    Contracted Out Pension Equivalent (COPE)

    Your COPE estimate is £9.22 a week

    I have 6 years post 2016 - 2016/17 to 2021/22

    There is no mention in the forecast about further contributions. In fact, it specifically says " £185.15 is the most you can get. You cannot improve your forecast any more." (Screen-grab on previous page)

    And my NI started in 1989/90 so that woud be 27 years at 6/4/2016

    All looks good then.  Your contracted out service has been taken into account and the amounts seem to work.

    Thanks guys - I just want to check, considering I was only showing 33 years of NI contributions.
