New build snags

Looking for some advice. Got quite a few snags in my house. This is one of the main ones as the developers have damaged by door frame prior to installing (confirmed by the painters) and they want to get said painted to fill it in with chalk which they’ve said they can’t do.
The door frame should of never been installed in the first place. Any advice what to do?

That will be the tip of the iceberg!
Get a snagging company to come in and make a list for you to go back to the developers with.. also check your weep vents are real if you’ve ever watched the instagram guy!

Go back to the developer and explain that it needs replacing as filling it with chalk is not an option, keep chasing the developer on a regular basis until its resolved.
Good luck. Have you submitted a full snag list? For mine I provided an Excel spreadsheet with all the details and then have kept contacting the developer for updates.0 -
I think a snagging company may be more help than Subway or similar1616six said:That will be the tip of the iceberg!

I think you mean caulk, which won't work. You can get some strong wood hardener which I think would work (I've repaired complete sections of damaged and missing pieces on outdoor wood using this). But it should not have been installed like that, it's just shoddy workmanship. However as someone else mentioned I would be more concerned about potential issues which might be more serious than this, which in this case looks to be cosmetic.
