Energy Help for those in Apartments
Options
My daughter and her partner reside in an apartment block in which all appliances and heating are electric. They pay as they go with their electric topping up via an app. Their electric supplier uses a 3rd party to arrange bills and request payments for their usage. Are they entitled to the government help with their electric bill like everyone else? Thank you

To clarify - do your daughter and her partner have a direct contract with an energy supplier for the supply of electricity to the property? It sounds as though they don't - in which case, it seems likely that no, they will not be eligible for the EBSS payments.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Who is this Electricity Supplier ? It sounds like they are paying their landlord and not suppliers like EDF or SP. If so then No (but watch this space)Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

Thanks for the quick replies.. I have checked with my daughter and upon signing the lease for their apartment they were given log in details and advised to download and log in on an App called Meter Pay.0
