Philosophy Raspberry Glazed Shower Gel 480ml

I have just one 240ml bottle of shower gel left from an original stash that ran into 3 figures, these ranged from travel sizes to litre bottles.  I also have just one full and one almost used body lotion left from a similar sized stash.  I'm so glad I got my buying under control when I did or we wouldn't have been able to move for it all, that's without mentioning the money.

  • UU:

    Medik8 calmwise serum. WBA.
Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN
  • Had a bit of a declutter, so a few bits gone, either used up or thrown away:

    UU
    • Ben Nye Brush Cleaner spray: This was always very handy in a pinch to clean my brushes, so I'd repurchase or something similar in the future.
    • Sample Sachet - The Skin House Wrinkle System Essence:  Terrible name   Used up on my legs, trying to get through some products and get the out of the flat!
    • Sample Sachet - Black Snail Collagen Cream: Also used on my legs
    • Sample Sachet - Clinique Moisture Surge: I was surprised this has like a gel-consistency, I was expecting a thick moisturiser.  Also, used on my legs- apparently I thought they were dry this morning!
    Throw Away
    • Collection Contour Kit- Highlight & Sculpt: Not sure why I bought this (ages ago)- I have literally never used it, and any time I have attempted, I've hated it!  Turns out I am not a contour girl!  The highlighter is naff too.
    • NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel: Again, not sure why I bought this, I don't do much with my brows and they're not particularly unruly.  This I've had quite a while now, and have never used it, so going in the bin
    • Mac Eye Pencil in Indigo: A friend gave me this ages ago as she wasn't using it, but I've never used it as don't use eyeliner much at all and this one is very scratchy!
    • NYX Eye liner in Glitzy Gold: Nice and smooth, but doesn't show up when on me at all, and I always regret when I use it!
    • Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Paint in something...:  No idea the name of the colour as the label is all rubbed away, but it's a soft periwinkley blue colour creme. I don't like it on me, and it doesn't dry with a great finish, so this is going.

    INS
Did a little nail polish order, a few presents for others and then a few for me....
    • Polished for Days nail polish - Memo to Me: A deep teal base with blue-teal-violet shifting shimmer and scattered black matte flakes.  Absolutely stunning, and Hades from Hercules is one of my fave Disney movies villains, so I couldn't resist.  I bought one as a present for a friend too!
    • Colores de Carol nail polish- Vampire Drool:  "A deep vampy red with a subtle multichrome shift, UCC flakes and iridescent chameleon flakes." So pretty, and both spooky and festive.  Bought one as a present for a (different) friend too.
    • ILNP Nail Polish- Olive Grove: Beautiful green with golden sparkle, perfect for this time of year (and for me all year round )

Something from my PP list, finally!

    • Rituals body lotion- 30ml travel size:  Didn't buy this, was from a hotel/BnB and I wouldn't buy it- it smells a bit like coca cola, so no thank you!

We went to the Trafford Centre yesterday.  My intention was to buy a bottle of Seche Vite from Boots as I finished mine yesterday and I can't buy this from the Boots local to work, visit Lush and buy a new foundation.  I wanted the Benefit Hello Flawless.  Managed to get the Seche Vite and some Lush bath bombs however it appears that the foundation is discontinued and it sounds like this happened some time ago.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Nails Inc Caviar Base Coat - WBA

Liz Earle Nail Polish in Moonlight - this had got very gloopy and didn't apply easily when I used it at the weekend, there is about a third of a bottle left but I find this to be the case with most coloured polish, I never get right to the bottom.  This was a lovely colour and the formula of these polishes is great but I don't think she does them anymore.

  • Morning all.  Hope you manage to find a suitable foundation replacement @VALM - Benefit seem to discontinue products quicker than most brands IMO

UU - Cath Kidston Lavender and Camomile Body Lotion - was part of a Christmas gift last year.  Hated the scent (bit like air freshener) and the texture was a little chalky (even when it was fresh) so it's taken a LONG time to get through this.  Have replaced with an Aveeno Creamy Oil which I love.

  • Whenever anyone on here finishes a nail polish, I have to google the colour!

    • PURITO - Fermented Complex 94 Boosting Essence:  I liked this one, it felt plump and juicy, I would repurchase as I don't have much else by way of fermented ingredients.  There's a little in my Dr Ceracle kombucha tea essence and my By Wishtrend Quad active, but it's not the main event in any of those.  BUT there is a little, so I'll move onto the quad active next, and get a dedicated fermented product at a later date.
    • Nina Ricci Travel mini- 4ml:  Think this was my last one, so now I'm all out of handy dandy minis. :-(  I had this one at the office.  I may need to get some more minis.
