    Few more UU to report from the weekend:

    Jordan Samuel Skin The Aftershow Treatment Cleanser Travel Size - HG cleanser and the travel size still lasts absolutely ages.  Have gone back to the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser mini just to UU but then will be back to the JSS afterwards

    H2O Seasalt Shower Gel - You're going to see a lot of this (and the shampoo and the body lotion) over the next year or so as we picked up basically all of the free minis when we were in Disney (IYKYK).  Did the job.

    Lush Lord of Misrule Bath Bomb - Love this scent and it made Sunday evening bathing very relaxing.

    Missha Lemon Sheet Mask - think these are multiplying in the drawer.  Does the job, just need to make my way through the stash!

    Bayliss & Harding Foot Cream - hated this, didn't do anything for my feet except just coating them.  Back to the Soap and Glory one.
    Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £
    LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000
    Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 2017

    • Nivea Double Effect Eye Make-Up Remover: Love this. Already got the replacement last week.
    • Dear, Klairs - Midnight Blue Calming Cream: I do like this, feels lovely and soothing, and it's a pretty blue colour due to the guaiazulene <3  I find it a bit tricky to factor in a light gel cream like this into my routine as I generally wear sunscreen every morning so don't need a moisturiser in the AM, and I prefer something thicker in the evening. This particular cream also has EGFs and as a pale person with many freckles, I'd rather not have EGFs in my products till we know more on them.  Beautiful light gel-type cream though, but I won't repurchase.

    How does everyone handle holiday releases?  Some of the Halloween and Christmas collections have been calling to me, and it's hard to resist as they're beautiful and limited edition!  I'm trying to sell a few pairs of exercise leggings as I have too many I don't wear (sold one pair already) and I think if I sell another pair I might treat myself to one of the eyeshadow palettes.  The one I want actually has my two most commonly used colours in one 16 pan palette which I think will be really useful.  Am I just making excuses to buy it? :lol:

    I used to be "that" person a very long time ago who would buy at least one thing from every MAC collection that they released, until I realised I'm never going to use a chartreuse eyeshadow on a daily basis 😆  To be honest, I have enough makeup to work my way through that I don't even really look at new releases anymore because I know I'll have something similar in the stash already.

    Not a lot of help I know!

  • @ruby_eskimo amusingly I am wearing an eyeshadow that could feasibly be called chartreuse today :lol:

    I do honestly have so much eyeshadow, I really don't need more!  The reason I'm tempted this time by this one palette is it's a reasonably small palette that has two of my favourite colour schemes within it (orange/red, and greens), so it would be perfect for weekends/trips away- oh no, what eyeshadow to take? That one palette that has your fave colours in, and not every single eyeshadow you own!  :lol:   I'm pretty sure I could 'dupe the vibes' fairly well though from what I have (maybe I will try that tonight), though it's almost more about them all being in one handy palette rather than needing those particular colours if that makes sense.

    Now I type that all out I know it's a bit ridiculous, a palette for when you go away somewhere on a minibreak.....
    :D I still want it though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  If I sell a second pair of leggings whilst it's in stock (it's a Christmas palette so probs will run out soon), then it might be my Christmas present to myself.

    Wow I did a bad job of talking myself out of it didn't I!

    I was wearing a chartreuse eyeshadow at the weekend (Colourpop Telepathy).  I was applying my makeup in the kitchen when MrM exclaimed "You're not making a YouTube video, we're only going up the market!".

    I get what you're saying about travel sized hence why I recently bought a MAC liquid pigment for my cruise.  Perhaps you should re-acquaint yourself with your stash and see if you have duplicates.

    2 more UUs

    John Frieda brown shampoo.  I'm using up dregs from the bathroom until Black Friday.  LOL.

    M&S Discover Mandarin & Ylang Ylang fragrance.  Another nice one that I would repurchase.

  • @VALM hahaha "You're not making a YouTube video, we're only going up the market!", so funny!  My partner has started to recognise all the Youtube people now and is like 'Oh it's such and such!' or 'oh, it's the sweary one!' (Theresa is Dead- he enjoys those ones) :lol:

    Having the travel-friendly version of my faves in one item would be handy.  We'll see.  I imagine by the time I have procrastinated and done all the handwringing of should I or shouldn't I, they'll be sold out! :lol:

    Yes, my husband recognises them too. "Is she the one with over 3000 eyeshadows?" is one of his quotes and he likes saying "Hi, guys!, welcome back to my channel".

    I have made some purchases/orders in the last couple of days:-

    Superdrug - Cosmetics on 3for2 so I bought 3 of my ELF concealers as I am using one every 1.5 months.  Bought Superdrug Revive shampoo and conditioner as it was on offer.  Bought nail polish remover as I'm about to run out.

    Boots - ordered a replacement MAC Radiant Pink primer and a lipstick for Emma for Christmas as it was 20% off plus £10 worth of AP when purchasing 2 MAC products.

    Updated PP list

    Carried over:-
    Skinsense Overnight Mask - this really needs to go this month!
    Paula's Choice exfoliator (only a small size but a little seems to go a very long way)
    Morphe Jacqueline Hiill On Camera eyeshadow (from the Ring the Alarm palette) - now depotted
    Elemis Toner - nearly done
    Ulstrasun SPF - can never tell how much is in there
    MAC Primer (feels very light)

    Added:-
    Hado Lado face cream
    Prai hand cream
    This Works Body Butter (tube cut open)
    Marseille lavender soap  DONE

    This soap was lovely, really creamy.  I don't know if I've mentioned but we have booked another cruise next year visiting the same itinerary but on a different ship.  I may have to get off in port just to buy more soap!  Didn't realise taht we can use Tesco Clubcard points towards RCI cruises.  Managed to save £500.00 on the holiday so seemed like a no brainer.
