I gave up my main full time job but still working the part time job. No children. The money does not stop if I die, in fact the balance gets paid as a lump sum into my estate. So potentially millions if I peg it early.Sea_Shell said:Are you married? Children?
Be careful not to overstretch yourself, as bear in mind, I assume the money stops if you die before the 30 yrs is up.
IMO, save the first 12 months worth, before making any big decisions.1 -

How much are you sharing with family?1 -
Congrats - glad to hear people do win it as we play a line every Mon/Thu. Hopefully they give you some detailed advice as it would be easy to get carried away. Personally I would be starting with a house upgrade (with an eye on a potential winter sun holiday home somewhere down the line warm for the winter) and looking how much I would share with family as with it not being a lump sum you'd have to plan to either save up a lump sum or setup regular payments. Then work out whats left for other stuff and how much you want to put aside to save and invest each month like you would if you were on a salary.
Other than that a bucket list of stuff you want to do like travel, nice car, hobbies etc.1
