i sent some faulty shoes back via Evri that have gone missing. Is my complaint with Evri or the retailer please?

Dune sent a link which took me to the Evri site where I got a return label, I did print in store. You would normally also get an email but this didn’t arrive but I have the QR/ 6 digit code I used to print the label in store. I received a blue hand written tracking receipt which we have stupidly misplaced but when I did check the shoes were marked as delivered. Dune say they don’t have.
I’ve been asking Evri if they can do anything with the 6 digit code I used in store to print the label- this label printed with all the correct details on & I am struggling to believe they have no trace of this happening!
Dune have been useless just pushing me back to Evri.
The shoes were over £100 and so I don’t really want to just let this go.
I’ll go to small claims if necessary. Surely they must have a record of the label being printed??

IMO if Dune sent you a link and paid for the return then your only contract is with them and they should refund you if you can prove you dropped off the parcel at Evri's agent.

OP you say you've lost the receipt but the tracking shows as delivered, I'm guess not as you mention "asking Evri if they can do anything with the 6 digit code", but to double check you don't have anything that shows that tracking number relates to the retailer's address?

I'm assume you paid by card?I’ve gone back to Dune and they’ve contacted Evri. Apparently even though I have the 6 digits code supplied by then which I used to print the lable they can’t do anything with this! They’ve asked for the retailer address and date sent so I’m hoping they can track this way.0 -
