TSB monthly saver minimum opening balance

Hi all

ive been looking at tsb monthly saver that allows you to save up to £250 per month at 3%.

it says you need to open the account with a minimum balance of £1 but doesn’t mention a max.

does that mean you could open with 2k for example then every month add £250? Account details here https://www.tsb.co.uk/savings/monthly-saver/

also i currently have tsb gold current account, which I plan to close as I was left stranded on the road the other day, as the AA service that came with account wasn’t provided when I broke down the other day so when I close my current account will my online banking still work?

thanks all.

"Save from a minimum of £25 to a maximum of £250 by standing order each month" is stated on the website. I take that to mean a maximum of £250 can be deposited in any one month including the month in which the account is opened ?
