Laptop Performance question

Is there a significant difference in the performance of the below? I usually, have 10-20 browsers, excel and word open to work between plus youtube playing something. I don' game at the moment. Would the slower less capable on be okay?

The Core i7 processor should be fractionally faster, but you won't be able to tell the difference unless you are doing something that is really processor-intensiveThe comments I post are my personal opinion.
