NatWest foundation accounting switching bonus

So I have a NatWest foundation account. It started as a normal current account but I have not been using it for years and at some point (more than 3 years ago) NatWest converted it to a foundation account. I also have two saving accounts with them that I'm in the process of closing.
I'm looking to close my foundation account and then switch my Lloyds bank account (opened 3+ years ago) to NatWest. Would I still be eligible for the current accounting switching bonus or will my foundation account count as a "current" account and hence won't be eligible?
Thanks.

Not sure why you want to close and switch back in. You don't have much time anyway.
You can get the switch bonus with NatWest as an existing customer, doesn't matter if you already have an account. But you'd have to convert your foundation account to one of the accounts in the offer.
And you'd need to act fast, the offer terms are for switches beginning (I assume instructed) before 3rd November, which is in 3 day's time.

Basic accounts don't usually attact switching in bonuses. You need to upgrade to a standard current account. They can be used to switch out from however.0
