Just bought a sony nwza818 mp3 player, trouble is its one of the first ones to be drag and drop instead of using the sonicstage software. The trouble is when I insert it in my pc, I get the box that opens and give me 3 options, ( syncronise files with media monkey, transfer files using wmp and take no action) but all I want to do is go through explorer and drag and drop, but looking in explorer the player not listed.. I found it in my computer, manage, device manager and its listed in windows portable devices as walkman.
Also I see it in media monkey as walkman, but cant get it to show up in explorer, its driving me MAD:mad:...all I wanted was to drag and drop like my other mp3 player.
any ideas

It might not be labelled as Sony mp3 player in Explorer, it could be called something like "removable media", it's easy to miss if it doesn't use the right name, I've done it more than once with mine.Winnings

Fraid its not that, I just insert the device via usb and the box appears with the 3 options, very very disappointed with it so far...I bought it because of the drag and drop feature, as I dont like all these media programs.
Just tried it on my laptop and its the same...0
